Michael Robblee, Architect, Urban Designer, Urban Planner


Michael Robblee is a Senior Associate Project Architect at First Forty Feet, showcasing an extensive portfolio of residential projects that spans charming walk-ups in California, mixed-use developments in Portland, Oregon, and high-rise towers in Seattle, Washington. With a career spanning over 18 years in the industry, Michael's expertise is centered around housing projects, urban design, feasibility studies, interior architecture, and tenant improvements.

Prior to his current role, Michael served as a Project Architect and BIM Manager at Ankrom Moisan Architects, where he garnered a dedicated following for his innovative solutions and technical acumen. Michael brings his architectural visions to life through meticulous attention to detail and an inside-out design philosophy.

During his graduate studies in Florence, Italy, Michael honed his proficiency in NURBS technology, contributing to his advanced knowledge of industry-leading tools such as Revit, Navisworks, 3DS Max, Rhino, and SketchUp. Recognized as a BIM Leader along the West Coast, Michael is well-regarded amongst his peers for his technical prowess.

As a recipient of the Dr. Genevieve H. Cory Scholarship during his studies in Interior Architecture and Design, Michael demonstrated his commitment to the field and was recognized as a future influencer. Before relocating to Portland, he held the position of Technical Design Lead in the Bay Area, offering landlord services and design concepts for renowned firms including KTGY, RMW, Stantec, and SmithGroup. His notable contributions at SmithGroup included a key role in the design of the San Francisco Office within the distinguished Bently Reserve building.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Michael is an adventurer, builder, baseball coach, and dedicated family man. With a heart full of compassion and a charismatic smile, Michael is dedicated to spreading positivity one step at a time.
